April 23, 2025
METALLICA is bringing more than just thunderous riffs to Toronto this week. As the band rolls into town for their two-night stand at Rogers Centre on Thursday, April 24 and Saturday, April 26, fans can also experience an exclusive pop-up shop located at The Well, 486 Front Street W (Unit LG-04).
The store officially opened Wednesday, April 23 and will run through Saturday evening, closing at 7:00 p.m. It features a wide range of tour merch, collectibles, and rare items. A fan-shot walkthrough of the store (courtesy of The Squirrel) is already circulating online for those curious to take a virtual peek.
A Tour That’s Still Red-Hot
The Toronto shows are part of METALLICA’s massive “M72” world tour, which launched in April 2023 in Amsterdam and has since drawn over three million fans. The tour’s format—featuring No Repeat Weekends—offers completely different setlists each night, creating a fresh experience for fans who attend both shows.
The tour’s North American leg kicked off April 19 in Syracuse, NY at the JMA Wireless Dome, with support from PANTERA and SUICIDAL TENDENCIES.
Critics continue to rave. The tour has been praised as:
- “A life-affirming experience” – Billboard
- “A stone-cold stunner” – Detroit News
- “Tight and furious” – Los Angeles Times
What’s Ahead on the Road
After Toronto, METALLICA’s 2025 itinerary includes several major highlights:

Production & Partnerships
This year, the “M72” tour features massive in-the-round stage production, even at single-show stops like Lane Stadium in Virginia. The band continues to bring the full experience to every venue.
The tour is produced by Live Nation and backed by new sponsor inKind, a platform that rewards users when they dine at top-rated restaurants. Learn more at inkind.com.
Giving Back
As always, METALLICA is using their platform for good. A portion of every ticket sold benefits the All Within My Hands Foundation. Since 2017, the foundation has raised over $15 million for:
- Career and technical education programs ($8.2M)
- Food insecurity relief ($3.6M)
- Disaster recovery efforts ($3.5M)
The foundation’s Metallica Scholars Initiative is now in its sixth year, helping students across the U.S. train for in-demand careers.
