A New Era Begins at the Bernabéu
Real Madrid has officially announced Xabi Alonso as the club’s new head coach, following the departure of Carlo Ancelotti. The former Spanish international returns to the Santiago Bernabéu, not as a player this time, but to lead the first team from the touchline.
Press Conference Scheduled
Alonso’s unveiling will take place on Monday, May 26, at 12:30 PM at Real Madrid’s facilities. Before the press conference, club president Florentino Pérez will host an official signing ceremony to confirm Alonso’s three-year contract, running from June 1, 2025, to June 30, 2028.
